This forum is a community forum meant for users of the plugin to collaborate and help solve issues with implementation, etc. Unfortunately, as the creator of the plugin, I do not have much time to attend to every request here as this is only a side project and I must work a full-time job to provide for my family. UploadiFive 1.1.1 has been released which includes a small fix for added support on touch devices including iOS 6 devices.
Uploadifive not handling files with accents in the filename

    Hi,

    I am using v1.02 of uploadifive, because v1.04 doesn't work in Safari 6 for me. What I am seeing is that files which have filenames which include characters with accents aren't uploading correctly. The upload appears to be working, but nothing shows up in the folder in my FTP client, or in file manager in cPanel. Such files do show up in Legacy File Manager in cPanel though, with the accents stripped out. With Firefox I can't even drag files with accents into the upload queue. It refuses to accept them.

    Filenames with characters with accents work fine in uploadify. Would you be able to address this issue in an update?

    I managed to get the latest version working now and files with accents are now working too. :)
