This forum is a community forum meant for users of the plugin to collaborate and help solve issues with implementation, etc. Unfortunately, as the creator of the plugin, I do not have much time to attend to every request here as this is only a side project and I must work a full-time job to provide for my family. This is how I keep the Flash version free and the HTML5 version low cost.
UploadiFive 1.1.1 has been released which includes a small fix for added support on touch devices including iOS 6 devices.
  • I just implemented Uploadify following the instructions on the documentation page exactly as they are written. I made sure the uploads folder has write permissions and everything goes fine until I try to upload. I select the file and instead of uploading, it says HTTP Error. I tried making a new uploads folder (also making sure to give it write permissions) to see if it was a problem with the folder. It still didn't work. What's the issue?
  • Which version of uploadify are you using?
  • The latest version (2.1.4). I just downloaded it and set it up today.
  • I had the same HTTP Error 512 trouble (uploadify 2.1.4) in Opera, Mozilla, Chrome, Saffari. It had worked in IE only. The trouble have disapeared in 2-3 days (I've reinstalled flash plugins). But my site's users have been reporting me of this bug for all this week.
  • Is there any fix for this?
