This forum is a community forum meant for users of the plugin to collaborate and help solve issues with implementation, etc. Unfortunately, as the creator of the plugin, I do not have much time to attend to every request here as this is only a side project and I must work a full-time job to provide for my family. This is how I keep the Flash version free and the HTML5 version low cost.
UploadiFive 1.1.1 has been released which includes a small fix for added support on touch devices including iOS 6 devices.
Uploadify 3.0 Beta and folder option
  • In the "Quick Tips for Uploadify 3.0 Beta" post it's mentioned that:

    > First off, the folder option is no longer there. It's more secure to do it in the PHP code so now it's required to do so.

This is based on a false premise that all Uploadify users are uploading to PHP. Many are actually using Uploadify to upload directly to cloud services like Amazon S3. In this case there is no PHP and the folder option is very convenient for keeping uploaded files organized.

Please consider bringing the folder option back but taking other measures to secure the PHP (e.g. having it ignore the folder option).

    Thanks,
    Sam
