Sorry... I can't deal with all the SPAM so until I can find a better solution for the forums, I'm locking them down. For now please use awesome services like stackoverflow.com for community support. Thanks.
This forum is a community forum meant for users of the plugin to collaborate and help solve issues with implementation, etc. Unfortunately, as the creator of the plugin, I do not have much time to attend to every request here as this is only a side project and I must work a full-time job to provide for my family. This is how I keep the Flash version free and the HTML5 version low cost.
  • Hi

    I'm trying to replicate the holding area using in the second demo @ http://www.uploadify.com/demos/. This is the following html code that I'm using:

    <div class="demo-box">

    <div id="status-message">Select some files to upload:</div>
    <div id="custom-queue"></div>
    <asp:FileUpload ID="FileUpload" runat="server" />
    <div>
    <input type ="button" value="Start Upload" onclick ="javascript:$('#<%=FileUpload.ClientID%>').fileUploadStart()" />
    &nbsp;
    <input type="button" value="Clear" onclick = "javascript:$('#<%=FileUpload.ClientID%>').fileUploadClearQueue()" />
    </div>

    </div>

    The following is the uploadify code:

    <script src="Scripts/jquery-1.4.1.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="Scripts/jquery.uploadify.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <link href="style/uploadify.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

    <script type = "text/javascript">
    $(window).load(
    function () {
    $("#<%=FileUpload.ClientID%>").fileUpload({
    'uploader': 'Scripts/uploader.swf',
    'cancelImg': 'images/cancel.png',
    'buttonText': 'Browse for Files',
    'displayData': 'speed',
    'queueID': 'custom-queue',
    'simUploadLimit': 3,
    'queueSizeLimit': 3,
    'removeCompleted': false,
    'script': 'Upload.ashx',
    'folder': 'uploads',
    'fileDesc': 'Image Files',
    'fileExt': '*.jpg;*.jpeg;*.gif;*.png',
    'multi': true,
    'auto': false,

    'onSelectOnce' : function(event,data) {
    $('#status-message').text(data.filesSelected + ' files have been added to the queue.');
    },
    'onAllComplete': function (event, data) {
    $('#status-message').text(data.filesUploaded + ' files uploaded, ' + data.errors + ' errors.');
    }

    });
    }
    );
    </script>

    I've also the following stored in the uploadify.css file:

    #custom-queue {
    border: 1px solid #E5E5E5;
    height: 213px;
    margin-bottom: 10px;
    width: 370px;
    }

    The problem that I'm having is that the items don't load in the "custom-query" div.

    Cheers

    Michael.
