Running OS X.6

Hello I have taken the 2.1.4 download and installed it in my directory.

Chmod 755 -R uploadify

Attempt to load the default uploadify index page: loads succesfully

Use the single file upload which is supposed to put the uploaded files into the files directory(755)

Upload a PDF

Check the directory ... and there is nothing in the directory.

changed the directory over to 755 ... checked ... nothing there

Ran same script under IE8 ... nothing as well

i have default settings and default parameters with nothing working.

php.ini file in the uploadify directory I have set the tmp location at [current directory]tmp and changed permissions to 755

Still did not work

I THought that this should have worked directly from the installation !?!?!?
What do I have to change to make this work?
