I had thread going in another forum and just now figured out it is a bug. Im not sure if this has been reported already so I am putting the thread info here.
Ill sum up the thread as best as possible. Uploadify was not working for me in IE8 (I'm not sure about other versions of IE). It would let me browse for a file but it would not get added to my queue. I resolved the issue by changing the id of my queue div to "pic_queue" instead of "queue". I also had to adjust the jquery code accordingly. IE8 will not allow my queue to work if the id of my queue div is set to "queue".
System info:
Windows XP SP3
IE8 Version 8.0.6001.18702
