Online Demo crashes Firefox 3.07 on Ubuntu 8.10

Uploadify looks most excellent, its a shame I have never seen it work.
When i navigate to the online demo on the uploadify website and attempt to upload a file with any one of the demos, firefox hangs and then finally crashes.
I am using Firefox 3.07 on a Compaq Laptop running Ubuntu 8.10.
Firefox is running Firebug as its extension.
This has occured every time i have tried to upload something using the online demo.
Is this a known bug?

It's been a year and flash still crashes. It's because of the Flash text you guys are using...im not sure why (since CSS3 @font-face has been around since IE5+ and the rest of all the other browsers...) But yes, none of the demos (still) a year later work.
And, P.S., flash has never crashed for me on any other web site repeatedly like this...
