UploadiFive 1.1.1 has been released which includes a small fix for added support on touch devices including iOS 6 devices.
Adding Form fields dynamically to scriptdata

    I want to add a form field to scriptdata:


    User clicks the flash button "upload resource". Then JQuery (or another javascript library) sets the uploadify scriptdata 'description' value.

    Can I use the "Select" or "SelectOnce" event?

    I'd appreciate help with this!

    For the uploadify object I've got:

    upload.uploadifySettings('scriptData', {'gsName_resource' : gsName_resource , 'gsDescription': gsDescription});
    upload.uploadifyUpload(); // Triggers the upload to start.

    I'm trying to grab the form values for gsName_resource and gsDescription.

    Don't use the built-in event, it's a little buggy. Here is a work around :
    $('#someId').click(function(){
    $('#uploader')
    .uploadifySettings('scriptData', {//a JSON data...});
    //trigger the upload instead of directly clicking it
    .uploadifyUpload();
    });
